UCCF's story is one of compassion and dedication. It was founded by a group of individuals deeply touched by the impact of pediatric cancer on their families and friends. Their shared vision was to create an organization that could make a difference in the lives of young cancer warriors. With unwavering commitment and a mission-driven approach, UCCF began its journey to provide support, raise awareness, and fund innovative programs in the fight against pediatric cancer.
Meet Our Founder:
Over three decades ago, life took a profound turn when we learned about childhood cancers. Fueled by compassion and driven by an unyielding passion, embarked on a mission. We reached out to childhood cancer organizations, extending time, voices, and unwavering commitment to support families during their most challenging moments.
It took many years for to gather the experience, knowledge, and confidence to start the United Children's Cancer Fund (UCCF). During those years, we immersed ourselves in the world of pediatric oncology, gaining invaluable insights into the unique struggles faced by families battling childhood cancer. We saw the gaps in assistance for these families and recognized the urgent need for a dedicated organization to help bridge those gaps.
It was this profound understanding of the challenges that led Jacqueline to found UCCF so many years later. She had witnessed firsthand the emotional, financial, and psychological toll that pediatric cancer exacted on families, and she was determined to make a difference.
Today, UCCF stands as a testament to our unwavering dedication and the enduring impact of her journey. With a team of compassionate individuals, we continue to fill those crucial gaps in assistance for families, offering them hope, support, and a lifeline during their darkest hours.
